Knives, beer crates and pens

It’s been a while since I posted some projects, so here are the latest ones.

Knife handle replacements
An aunt asked me to fix a few broken knives. The blades were still perfect, but the epoxy (or resin?) handles broke. I decided to give them a unique look by using 3 different kinds of wood. These are walnut, xylia and marupa.

Laser engraved pen

When I started posting my pens on Facebook, someone asked if they could be engraved as well. He was interested in having some of these pens made for a new company he started.

It took me a while to find a store in the neighborhood that could do this sort of work, but I finally found one. I sent off the thickest pen I had to be sure the logo would be visible.

After a few weeks of anticipation, I received a call from the store informing me the engraving was done. And the result can be admired below.
