Description
This bowl was turned from a mystery wood type. I carved a single piece chain in the rim.
It was then finished to look like a rusty metal chain that is partly embedded in the bowl.
Most people are fooled by the look and expect this piece to be really heavy because of the metal chain.
The horizontal links of the chain can be moved around freely.
It is finished with a antique silver paint and rust effect paint to give the unique look to the chain.
PS: the bottom view of the bowl was added so you can see the links drop down in this position (as they are loose).
